A job offer that has recently been posted on the Apple site should delight those who are impatiently waiting for this feature. The Cupertino company is looking for a software engineer to join the team working on Plans.
The future employee must of course have a “in-depth knowledge of public transport”, Both as a regular user and technically, to take care“of one of the most anticipated features of Apple Maps”.
Logically, public transport should appear in iOS 9, the release of the first beta is scheduled for next June (read: Apple formalizes WWDC 2015 from June 9 to 12 in San Francisco). The keynote will also reveal the future major version of the operating system for the brand’s Macs, OS X 10.11.
