Last year, Apple introduced its mobile payment service called Apple Pay. The latter is only available in the United States at the moment, but is expected to arrive in new countries throughout this year.
According to a new report released by 9to5Mac, Apple plans to make Apple Pay available in Canada in March. The Cupertino company did not confirm the information, it is obviously a rumor at the time of writing.
The report of 9to5Mac mentions that Apple is in fact in negotiations with its partners to make its service available in the first half of 2015. They would be preparing promotional material for the launch in March in Canada.
In recent months, reports of the launch of Apple Pay in new regions have been appearing on the web (read: The Apple Watch could first be released in Europe). Anyway, Apple Pay is growing rapidly in the United States, and more and more banks are joining the Californian brand.
