A document appeared on the web a few weeks ago predicted the appearance ofApple Pay July 14 in the UK (read: Apple Pay: a UK release on July 14?). And the rumors got it right once again: the Apple brand payment service has been available from our British neighbors since last Tuesday. It is the first European country to benefit from it.
Apple Pay is currently available for 250,000 businesses. We find in particular Subway, KFC and McDonald’s, mainly leaders in European catering. Of course, everything suggests that new stalls will be added to the current list. With regard to the banks taking charge of the payment service, brands such as Royal bank of scotland, Halifax and HSBC are there.
As a reminder, only the Iphone 6 and theApple Watch allow the use of Apple Pay. Currently, payments are capped at £ 20. This amount should increase by 10 pounds next September. Hopefully by then, the Cupertino company will have released Apple Pay in France!
