Apple Park is slated to open next month, but as of yet no specific date has been released. Pending the inauguration of the new Apple campus, Matthew Roberts shows us the progress of the work with a new aerial shot. The video showing construction progress was posted on his YouTube channel.
The images show that there is still some work to be done, especially on the roof. Note that many solar panels have yet to be installed on the roof of the circular building. Around the campus, the parking lot at Tantau Avenue is about to be completed while the “Steve Jobs Theater” is still far from ready. Sources say the amphitheater is not expected to open this year.
The youtuber’s drone also spotted chairs and desks in the research and development center. The video also suggests that the development of the pond in the central courtyard of Apple Park will require more time. However, the landscaping is starting to take shape. Stairs were installed near the main building, just before the entrance to the atrium. More than 6 years after Steve Jobs’ initiative, the new Apple campus will finally see the light of day in the coming weeks.
