Last night, Apple has made available to developers the third beta ofiOS 8.3 (read: iOS 8.3 beta 3 available on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch). At the same time, the Cupertino company took the opportunity to open its open beta program for the general public. The latter was until now reserved for OS X.
It is therefore now possible to download iOS 8.3 beta even if you do not have a developer account. The version offered yesterday is the same as the public version, which was not always the case with OS X.
If you want to test the iOS 8.3 pre-release on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, simply sign up for Apple’s beta software program at this address. As demand is high, you may experience some slowness. If so, wait a few minutes and try again. Hopefully the initiative will allow the Cupertino company to offer more stable versions of its mobile operating system in the future…
