Apple seems to be partnering with a few American operators with a new offer on iCloud. The manufacturer offers 2 free months of 200 GB iCloud storage.
Customers who update their plan on their iPhone will benefit from 200 GB of storage on iCloud for 2 months so as they prepare for their new iPhone. Since this offer will be presented to iPhone users, they will be able to use this 200 GB storage to ensure that the data on their current iPhone is backed up securely. Then, they can simply log into iCloud on their new smart smartphone and make sure everything is transferred smoothly.
The offer is only available to new iCloud customers in the United States and is automatically renewed (at the regular price of $ 2.99) if it is not canceled. Apple of course hopes that users do not cancel the subscription and continue to use the iCloud service after the free period. As a result, users who are only interested in the free offer must manually deactivate the renewal or risk paying the subscription for the month following the free offer.
Unfortunately (for now?) French users seem not to be concerned by such an offer. We will have to wait for the next few days to find out more.
By the way, we remind you that iCloud made its debut in 2011 with the possibility of paying to have online storage. Apple has also offered 5 GB of free storage but this offer has not increased since. On the other hand, the firm has reduced the prices of its payment levels significantly on several occasions, however the quantity of storage offered free of charge remains unchanged.
