Since Sunday, Apple no longer signs iOS 8.4. In other words, it means that you can no longer restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to this version of Apple’s firmware with iTunes if you have installed iOS 8.4.1. It is also not possible to update from iOS 8.x to iOS 8.4.
As you know, iOS 8.4.1 blocks the flaws used by the two jailbreak software PP and TaiG (read: iOS 8.4.1 blocks TaiG & PP jailbreaks). Although the hackers of the team PanGu seem to have jailbroken an iPhone 6 under iOS 8.4.1, they have not yet made public their tool (read: Jailbreak iOS 8.4.1: successful on the iPhone 6 by the PanGu team). If you have carried out the last update of the operating system of Apple, it will therefore be necessary to be patient.
For others, it is strongly recommended that you do not upgrade your iDevice to iOS 8.4.1 if you want to continue enjoying the jailbreak. Indeed, the next seal will probably be offered with iOS 9 planned to be released in the final version next fall. If you haven’t already taken the plunge, you can find our iOS 8.4 jailbreak tutorials for Mac with PP software and for Windows with TaiG software.
