Bad news for those who counted downgrade their iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad from iOS 8.3 to iOS 8.2 using our tutorial (read: Tutorial: Downgrade iOS 8.3 to iOS 8.2). Since this afternoon, Apple unfortunately no longer signs iOS 8.2…
From now on, it is therefore impossible to restore with iTunes your Apple device under a firmware different from iOS 8.3. If you are a jailbreak lover and you plan to revert to the previous version of the mobile operating system from the Cupertino company (iOS 8.2) to optimize your chances of seeing hackers release software, it’s too late.
For the next jailbreak, you will probably have to wait for the release ofiOS 8.4 whose second pre-version is already available (read: iOS 8.4 beta 2 available for developers & in public beta). As a reminder, the sealing of this version of the OS has been successful by the developer Stefan Esser but has not yet been shared (read: Jailbreak iOS 8.4: successful by i0n1c on iPhone 6).
If by chance you are still on iOS 8.1.2 and you have not yet performed the jailbreak of your Apple smartphone or tablet, you can still follow our tutorials thanks to the TaiG (for Windows) and PP (for Mac) tools .
