Apple estimates that the transition phase is over, 2 years after removing the Jack port from the iPhone 7 and all its successors thereafter.
Apple no longer provides a Jack adapter
The Californian firm has thus decided to remove the Jack to Lightning adapter which was previously supplied with all recent iPhones (iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X) from the contents of its box. If you therefore want to, you will have to pay 10 € to get it on the Apple website or in a physical store (the price also increases by 1 €…).
… And sticks to the 5 W adapter
In addition, Apple always provides a 5 W AC adapter which does not allow you to take advantage of fast charging. Again, you will need to equip yourself at your expense if you want a more powerful charger.
