Last August, Apple officially announced that it has crossed the 11 million subscriber mark Apple Music (read: Apple Music; Eddy Cue evokes 11 million subscribers). Recently, the Californian brand has again mentioned its music streaming service.
When the conference WSJDLive 2015 recently organized by Wall street journal, Apple CEO Tim cook announced that 6.5 million paid subscribers were registered with Apple Music, and that 8.5 million users were still benefiting from the 3-month trial period offered during registration.
Figures released by Tim Cook coincide with a report posted online late last month by the New york post. The American newspaper estimated at 15 million the number of Apple Music subscribers who subscribed to the three free months (read: Apple Music: already 15 million subscribers?). Difficult to say if these results are satisfactory for the moment, but the Cupertino company seems to be content with it.
