Once again, Apple is in the viewfinder of a country’s competition regulator. The company has already experienced the same fate in many European countries. He is often criticized for engaging in illegal or anti-competitive practices with local telephone operators. And it may well be the case again…

They have notably reported that the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) of South Korea was investigating Apple. News that was then confirmed by Jeong Jae-Chan (president of the aforementioned organization) during an appointment, according to a report posted online by the site. Reuters.

Questioned on this subject, the latter did not want to deliver the slightest detail on this case. For the moment, it is therefore unknown if the Cupertino company is already subject to a penalty or if the investigation is still ongoing. If Apple is at fault in this case, it could be ordered to pay a fine as damages to companies injured by this practice deemed fraudulent.
