TheApple Car, unlike AirPower, is not dead. The apple brand still seems very interested in its electric and autonomous car project. The first rumors surrounding the project dated from a few years ago, and as the months go by, the information becomes more insistent as to the progress of its development. Today, it is the debauchery of Michael Schwekutsch (good courage to pronounce the name), which fuels the wildest hopes.

Michael Schwekutsch was, until now, the vice president of engineering for You’re here, responsible for the electric motors of the brand’s cars. He joined the American firm in 2015. Before that, he had played a significant role in the automotive industry, since he was instrumental in the design of electric or hybrid motors for several notable cars, including the BMW i8, the Porsche 918 Spyder, the Fiat 500eV or the Volvo XC90. If these vehicles don’t tell you anything, their production was nevertheless decisive for the manufacturers behind them.

A few months ago already, Apple had poached Tesla Doug Field. The latter also knows Michael Schwekutsch. The two men will therefore work on the electric and autonomous car project of the apple brand, to the delight of aficionados of the Cupertino company.
