According to Caifa News, in addition to Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung and OPPO, Apple is also strongly interested in this new technology.

Xiaomi has just released a new GaN charger that uses gallium nitride technology. Why such an interest? It's very simple, GaN chargers require fewer components than normal silicon chargers. They can lead to much higher tensions over time. For example, fast charging up to 65 W can be provided in a considerably smaller design.

For example, using the new Xiaomi 65 W charger, it is possible to charge an iPhone 11 with a charging speed 50% faster than Apple's 15 W charger. In addition, the USB-C interface of the new Xiaomi charger supports intelligent regulation of the output current, so that a MacBook Pro can be recharged easily.

Xiaomi said Apple really wants to invest in this technology. So it wouldn't be surprising to see one of these Apple-made chargers soon.
