According to a report posted online yesterday by 9to5Mac, Apple would be planning a keynote for the month of March 2016, in order to unveil the second generation of the Apple Watch.
The site, which cites sources close to the case, believes that theApple Watch 2 would then be shipped from April 2016, one year after the release of the first model of the watch. Apple would also work on a new iPhone 6C has a 4 inch screen, which could also be unveiled at this event.
Apple began developing technologies for future Apple Watch models long before the first generation was released. There are rumors of a camera, Wi-Fi, sleep tracking, and better health sensors being added to the smartwatch, but it is currently unclear what will appear on the model slated for March.
For its part, Apple’s iPhone 6C would allow the Cupertino company to continue to offer its customers smaller 4-inch screens, introduced with the iPhone 5 in 2012. Some users have indeed criticized the slabs 4 , 7 and 5.5 inches of the iPhone 6S and 6s Plus, smartphones deemed too large and too difficult to use with one hand.
