Apple announces the dates of its next WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) which will be the 26th of its kind. It will take place from June 8 to 12 at the Moscone West center in San Francisco in the United States.
From today until Friday 7 p.m. (Paris time), developers can request tickets to attend the event. Like last year, Apple will make a random selection to select the participants who will receive tickets.
Happy and unhappy will receive a response to their ticket request before next Tuesday. The entrance ticket is priced at $ 1,599.
The slogan of WWDC 2015 is: "The epicenter of change". The more or less general public announcements program remains mysterious at this stage, however. The only certainty concerns a lifting of veil on " what's new in iOS and OS X ".
Given past editions, there is almost no doubt that Apple will unveil the major new versions of its operating systems: iOS 9 and OS X 10.11. We will remember that for WWDC 2014, Apple had presented the preview of iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), and introduced the programming language Swift.
The material is no longer too usual for WWDC. The presentation of a new iPhone therefore seems very unlikely for WWDC 2015 but you never know for a new Apple TV.
