In a note, LG announces that its televisions will be able to support AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit from tomorrow (July 25). This support will be offered through an update that will be deployed to users.
With AirPlay 2, users will be able to stream content from their iPhone, iPad or Mac (movies and TV shows, photos, podcasts, music from Apple Music and its competitors, music stored locally) directly to their TVs. With HomeKit, users will be able to easily control their smart home with the Home app or via Siri.
