According to Bloomberg, Apple acquired DataTiger start-up, specialized in digital marketing. This takeover is aimed at strengthening digital marketing and making it more relevant to the brand’s customers.
Apple already uses multiple strategies in terms of digital marketing, especially emails aimed at promoting new products as well as push notifications encouraging users to subscribe to paid services such as Apple Music.
This acquisition for Apple is only the latest in a long line, it is worth remembering that the firm had officially got hold of Shazam in September 2018 (a flagship application in terms of musical recognition).
Apple thus uses different communication tools, it remains to be seen what DataTiger will bring to the business.
