Apple A9 processor, 2 GB of RAM and a photo sensor that climbs 12 megapixels?

The next iPhone should logically embark on a new generation processor Apple A9 but for analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, of KGI Securities, they will also be the first iPhone to ship 2 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, against 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM for current models.

iPhone-6-Plus-iPhone-6 So far, only the tablet iPad Air 2 has benefited from such a large amount of RAM to support its Apple A8X platform. The analyst logically sees the new models as evolutions of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, which will once again display 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays.

Another novelty, the screens of future iPhone will benefit from technology Force Touch deployed on the connected watch Watch and some brand products, allowing to take advantage of new gestures and interactions which should be the subject of first demonstrations during the presentation of iOS 9 in early June during the WWDC 2015 developer conference.

The analyst also suggests that next-generation iPhone 6S may see their rear photo iSight module climb to 12 megapixels, against 8 megapixels on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The shell of the new iPhones could be made of the same high-quality aluminum as that of the Watch watch cases and the screen could be protected by a sapphire crystal.

Sapphire rumor resumes service, Apple believed to have built up sufficient stocks after the disappointment of GT Advanced, at least for a special edition of an iPhone 6S Plus. The analyst expects mass production starting in August, for a volume that could reach 80 to 90 million units by the end of 2015.

No mention, however, of a iPhone 6C positioned in the mid-range, in which analyst Ming-Chi Kuo does not believe elsewhere than moderately.
