Android 5.0 Lollipop and big battery for 200 euros

After a 4G / LTE compatible A6000 smartphone and a more responsive A6000 Plus version, a little brother named A5000 is born. Small, but with a substantial battery. Lenovo has indeed chosen a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, which should guarantee a rather comfortable autonomy. Its presence explains the 160 grams on the scale and the more than 10 millimeters in thickness.

Regarding the characteristics, we also mention an IPS screen 5 inch in a definition of 1280 x 720 pixels, two SIM slots, one of which is compatible 3G +, Wi-Fi 802.11n / GPS / FM / Bluetooth 4.0 connections, 2 and 8 Megapixel photo sensors and flash memory 8 GB expandable by MicroSD card. On the processor side, there is a model 1.3 GHz quad-core brought by the MediaTek MT6582 platform and coupled with a 1 GB RAM.

As for the OS, it will initially be Android 4.4 KitKat. But Lenovo said that an update Android 5.0 Lollipop was on track. It will cost in 200 euros to acquire the Lenovo A5000.
