an iris scanner in the P10?

Huawei has not yet formalized its much anticipated P10 and yet, shots of the latter are already found on the canvas. It is the Chinese site Anzhuo which published a photo of a terminal announced as being the P10, the next top smartphone of the brand.

Interestingly enough, the photo is associated with a few details: the terminal would have an iris scanner, thus making it possible to identify yourself simply by looking at your smartphone. This is not a first on a smartphone, since Samsung already offered it on its Galaxy Note 7, but it is notable to see this technology arriving so quickly on a Chinese terminal offered at a price that will probably be aggressive.

The scanner works by sending infrared light to the user's eye. The camera thus identifies patterns in the eye that form a unique identifier for each. The system is not necessarily more secure than the fingerprint reader, since it is always possible to find a way to deceive it, however it will offer a simpler identification process for the user, and above all an identification that could be continuous while using the terminal.

Other rumors already evoked the technical data sheet of the P10 with some hesitations however: Kirin 960 processor (identical to the Mate 9) or 965, from 4 to 8 GB of RAM … The P10 could be declined in two versions including one with '' a curved screen on the edges, each will however have a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED screen. Finally Huawei would take the photo module of the P9 with a double RGB / Monochrome sensor.
