Apple has now started selling its Afterburner card for the new Mac Pro, on separate purchase at a price of 2,500.
When the new Mac Pro was launched, the Afterburner card was available for purchase only as an option when setting up the machine at an additional cost of 2,500 euros. Apple is also now offering the purchase of the single card, still at the same price, but offering customers the option of adding their Mac Pro at any time.
The Afterburner card offers high performance and has received many positive returns from the professional community. It allows you to play up to 6 ProRes RAW video streams in 8K or up to 23 ProRes RAW video streams in 4K and enhances the ProRes and ProRes RAW video codecs in Final Cut Pro X, QuickTime Player X and other compatible applications developers.
The card can be installed in any PCIe slot on the Mac Pro. If you're interested, you can go to the official Apple website. The delivery will take place between April 2 and 6 for a purchase today.
