It was at a press conference in late July that Adobe announced the upcoming launch of a mobile version of Flash. This new version is especially intended for telephones and smartphones equipped with systems multi-touch and accelerate.
Adobe Flash Mobile is expected to appear in 2010 and if we take Adobe’s recent statements, this new version should integrate a wide range of mobile operating systems such as Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, WebOS and Windows Mobile.
The iPhone would no longer be concerned, however. Negotiations between Adobe and the Cupertino company seem to have stalled. The iPhone remains a closed device and we are not making any progress on it said Adobe spokesperson recently.
It is also expected that this version of Flash Mobile incorporates an accelerator GPU. Too bad for the iPhone … unless Apple is ultimately more open.
