Adopted by Apple since the beginning of the year, Thunderbolt connectivity is also on the way to be offered by two computer manufacturers. Asus and Acer have just announced that several terminals based on Windows 7 would benefit from this ultra-fast transfer technology.

This format is expected to compete with USB 3.0, the expected successor to the widely used USB 2.0, on all future computers.
