With the announcement of the iPhone 11 (and the iPhone 11 Pro) coming in less than three weeks, rumors and leaks are in full swing. Pending the keynote of September 10, here is new information on the iPhone XI and especially its charger.
According to, ChargerLAB, the new iPhone 2019 would finally abandon the 5W charger and would be accompanied by an Apple USB-C charger and a Lightning to USB-C cable in the box. The iPhone would keep the Lightning connector but would come with a fast charger, a first.
USB-C: this time it's good with the iPhone 11?
ChargerLAB had already launched this rumor last year by assuring that Apple's USB-C charger would be in the box of the iPhone XS and iPhone XR. Instead, Apple launched this new charger with the redesigned iPad Pro models in October. But this year, others like Macotakara also announced that the iPhone XI would come with a faster USB-C charger and an appropriate cable. We are talking about 18 Watts, like the one sold in the Apple Store.
For the rest, we expect a little innovative iPhone 11. We will certainly find a new matt exterior style, the rear triple camera, an A13 chip, a revised Taptic engine and new intelligent photo functions such as the Smart Frame. In addition, the battery should be boosted by 15% and allow reverse charging for AirPods.
Rest wait for the formalization of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro in a few days! Visit our keynote page in French.
