If it is almost certain that Samsung will operate a SoC SnapDragon 835 and an Exynos 8895 SoC on the different versions of its next benchmark smartphone, the Galaxy S8, what will be its memory configuration?
The current consensus tends towards an amount of RAM which would reach 6 GB, like some smartphones on the market that already offer it, such as the OnePlus 3 / OnePlus 3T.
However, it is possible to go even further and it is again rumored that Samsung could opt for 8 GB RAM in a Galaxy S8 smartphone that should make you forget the failure of the Galaxy Note 7 and set the bar very high. And this RAM could be produced via its foundry activity and engraved in 10 nm.
In addition, the Korean group could further improve storage memory technology by opting forUFS 2.1, while the Galaxy S7 and even the Galaxy Note 7 have UFS 2.0 memory.
This would remain consistent with the fact that UFS 2.1 type memory should be supported by all next-generation high-end mobile processors, from SnapDragon 835 to SoC Helio X30 from MediaTek probably going through the latest generations of Samsung Exynos.
