On the night of January 29 to 30, Apple reported the results of the first fiscal quarter of 2019, sales sullied during the last three months of 2018.
These results allowed us to learn that a 15% drop in revenues from iPhone sales had occurred compared to the same period of the previous year.
Later in the night, the site Strategy Analytics, made public its analysis on the latter, estimating while 65.9 million iPhone were sold during the last quarter of 2018.
65.9 million iPhones at the end of the year 2018?
For some time, Apple is no longer in the details when publishing the results and therefore leaves us in the dark about sales of its products.
It is then possible to analyze and to speculate, as does the Strategy Analytics site. 65.9 million iPhones would have been sold during the last months of 2018, a decrease of 15% over one year (77.3 million in 2017).
To counter these declines, Tim Cook has announced the decline in the price of iPhone in some countries.
