iOS 11 has brought many new features and tips. Among these tips we find one that allows us to follow the flights. This tip is intended to be very useful and avoids having to download a third-party application. Quick, easy to use this tip gives you the details of flight status up to the minute.
How to track your flights on iOS 11
Slide from the middle of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch screen to activate the Spotlight search. Or, you can swipe from left to right from your first home screen.
Type the flight number you want to track. For example, you can enter ” af1449 “For Air France or” aa1449 For American Airlines etc.
The results of the RSpotlight research will also provide the current flight status, flight duration and boarding gate for departure and arrival. In addition, you will find a link to the airline’s website as well as a quick link to the arrival or departure directions leading to Plans, Apple’s mapping application, at the bottom of the search result.
With this tip, you can easily find available flights without having to go through a third-party application. Also, be aware that this trick also works on macOS with the High Sierra version. On Mac, it’s the same process again; you can go through the RSpotlight research to succeed. But, be aware that the trick does not work in all regions and works only with recent flights.
If you have already used this trick or if you find it useful one of these days, please let us know by leaving us a little message in the comments.
