If Wiko is very active in the smartphone sector, revealing model on model in recent times, the Marseille-based company also intends to find a place in the field of connected objects. As proof, on its MWC stand in Barcelona, ??it presented a watch called Watch.
Wiko has done with simplicity in terms of design and functionality. The Watch does indeed display one of the most classic aspects, while it offers to display time and follow physical activity or the sleep thanks to different sensors. The information will be retrieved and used on a smartphone or tablet, under Android or iOS, with pairing via Bluetooth (version 4.0). The alerts will go through a mixture of LED notifications and vibrations.
Wiko has obviously opted for a waterproof watch, even going as far as resistance to immersion, since there is talk of accompanying the user in activities such as swimming. The brand has also said it has provided two batteries to guarantee good autonomy. The first will be dedicated to the watch function and promises autonomy of 4 years, with an hour that will automatically update thanks to the smartphone. The second will be used for the tracking part and will offer an autonomy of 6 months.
