Project Cars has been available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for a few weeks after a long wait. But this expectation will have been rewarded, since the title won over critics with its sharp aspect and breathtaking realism.
Still, the Wii U version of the promised title is still pending … Ian Bell, the CEO of Slightly Mad Studios, however, expressed himself on the official game forums to share the difficulties encountered with the console during the development of the game.
During a game of questions and answers with Internet users, the CEO thus evokes the galleys of the development of the title on Wii U, which would currently only shoot at 23 frames per second on the console in 720p. Without making even more dead ends on the visual quality of the title, it seems difficult for Project Cars to be truly playable on the Nintendo living room console.
It is also due to a lack of power that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions had already been canceled. The Wii U version could take a similar path, unless Nintendo announces a new console whose release is imminent, Project Cars could then be ported to the new platform.
