the mini-PC becomes 4K ready for cinphiles


Officialized in 2012, Intel's NUC (Next Unit of Computing) mini-PC has evolved over generations of processors from the Santa-Clara firm. The latter unveils today a new model which should interest cinphiles, since it is stamped 4K ready to let consider the very high definition.

Intel just unveiled a new sound model NUC that might interest moviegoers. Coupled with one of the Ultra HD 4K compatible monitors recently revealed by Acer, Asus, BenQ, Nec or Philips, the mini-PC in question would indeed allow them to build a media center with which they could watch content in a definition 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.

Expected during second trimester and referenced NUC5i7RYH, this Intel NUC miniPC will offer a 3.1-3.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7-5557U processor (Broadwell generation), RAM up to 16 GB, an Intel HD 6100 graphics solution with mini-HDMI outputs 1.4a / mini-DisplayPort 1.2, 7.1 audio rendering, an mSATA slot and a 2.5-inch bay for a SATA 3 unit. For the rest, we mention USB 2.0 / USB 3.0 / Gigabit Ethernet ports and Wi- Fi AC / Wi-Di / Bluetooth 4.0.

Now remains to know the pricing for France. It has not yet been the subject of a communication.
