On May 29, Microsoft offered build 10130 of Windows 10 preview on PC to testers (or Insiders) who opted for the Fast channel via Windows Update. Subsequently ISO images were made available on June 5 and allowing for a clean installation.
Now, the Insiders of the Slow channel – wanted more stable than the Fast channel – are in turn entitled to build 10130 of Windows 10 Insider Preview on PC. An update which will be for them the first since build 10074 which dates back to April 29.
During these last days, build 10130 received several patches in order to reduce its number of bugs and thus be able to reach the Slow channel. Some of these patches will be applied during the installation procedure, but it is still recommended to take a look at Windows Update afterwards.
Note that there is still a problem with Surface 3 that prevents installation and results in an error with the code 0x80246017. The installation of the build will therefore not go through Windows Update. We will have to rely on ISO images.
