Most certainly one of the most anticipated games in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt promises a real gaming experience, making it one of the best RPGs this year. Originally scheduled to be released this month on PCs and home consoles, the title of CD Projekt will finally arrive next May.
Speaking to the PC RPG Community group on YouTube, the CD Projekt RED developers notably returned to the postponed release date. They pointed out that the game "was not ready yet", highlighting the bad reception of the games released when they were not fully finalized.
The studio refers in particular to Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed Unity which was weighed down by technical problems when it was launched, thereby causing bad feedback from players.
The developers have emphasized that they cannot follow this pattern of early exit: "We shouldn't get out of shit and we don't want to get out of shit", they said.
They also admitted to being proud of their game and feel they do not have to apologize for the delay in release. Also, it is clear that the studio seeks to offer the most stable game possible, so as not to alter the pleasure of play. We bet that the result is up to our expectations.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on May 19, 2015 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
