Yu, the brand of the manufacturer Micromax supposed to compete with Xiaomi, was expected this Tuesday, May 12 on a second smartphone called Yuphoria. This has just been formalized.
After a Yureka positioned on the big mid-range with its SoC Snapdragon 615, the Indian firm is trying its luck on the small mid-range by unveiling a Yuphoria equipped with a platform Snapdragon 410. This takes advantage of a 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit processor supported by 2 GB of RAM and a 4 G / LTE modem at 150 Mbit / s.
Yu also equipped his smartphone with an IPS screen 5 inch in a definition 1,280 x 720 pixels (resolution 294 dpi) protected by a Gorilla Glass 3, 5/8 Megapixel photo sensors, a 16 GB flash memory expandable by MicroSD, a 2,230 mAh battery with fast charge (0 to 65% in 45 minutes, thanks to Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology) and a ROM Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

A price of 6,999 rupees, the equivalent of 97 euros, was announced on the Amazon platform which benefits from an exclusive distribution. Two white / gold and black / metal finishes are available.
