Become famous because of its many promotions on its PC and Mac games, the platform Steam accumulates attendance records for several months. After passing the bar of 8.1 million users connected to the client at the same time last January, here is a new record which passes the bar of 9 million players.
This new record of 9.06 million simultaneous connections was done on Sunday March 15, 2015 around 11:30 a.m.
The reason for this success may be due to the Ubisoft sale operation which offered several games (and DLC) from the publisher with promotions up to -75%.
The most popular games remain the same, with Dota 2 in first place, followed by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2 and Payday 2.
