Following its recent announcement, Sid Meier's Starships is now enjoying a release date and a price on PC, Mac and iPad. Fans of the aging Alpha Centauri will therefore be able to find a title of the same ilk.
Revealed last month, Sid Meier's Starships presents itself as the spiritual sequel to Alpha Centauri, a very good turn-based strategy game released in the late 90s.
Exploiting the universe of the recent Civilization: Beyond Earth, Starships offers us to control a fleet of ships in space in order to explore the galaxy, protect the planets and their civilizations, always in a turn-based game system.
We learn through the game's Twitter account that it will be released on March 12, 2015 on PC, Mac and iPad, priced at $ 14.99.
The title will only be available in dematerialized format via the Steam, Mac App Store and App Store platforms.
