Marketed in 2013 on Xbox 360 then on PC, State of Decay presents itself as a very good survival game from Undead Labs. Indeed, the software offers an interesting gameplay that distinguishes it from other zombie games.
Currently, developers are working on State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition, a version for the Xbox One that will contain the base game and all of its DLC, for an expected release on April 28.
During their work on rendering the game to make improvements, the team came across textures showing penises. Undead Labs called on external stakeholders to help develop the game in 2013, and one of them left this gritty easter egg. However, the textures of the game being of low quality, this little surprise is hardly legible.
Microsoft has spoken on this subject through Game Informer, pointing out that "Undeal Labs was not aware of this textures before starting the process of exporting textures for State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition, and they are not visible in the original edition".
"Undeal Labs no longer works with the consultant in question and these textures will no longer be present in State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition", said Microsoft spokesperson.
