During the development of the 3DS, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden – the sequel to the series started in 1993 on Super NES – takes advantage of its first good quality images which allow you to get an idea of ??this 2D fighting game.
Unveiled a few days ago in the Japanese press, Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden presents itself as the next Bandai Namco title exploiting the license of the famous manga by Akira Toriyama. Exclusively reserved for Nintendo 3DS, the software looks like the continuation of the series started in 1993 on Super NES.
The publisher has freshly distributed first images of the game below, displaying the 2D realization which seems rather qualitative and respectful of the shônen.
For now, we know that this episode will offer over 100 playable characters in 1 on 1 or in teams.
The release date is indicated for the spring 2015 in Japan. It remains to be seen whether the publisher will offer a western localization.
