Expected for the month of September on the occasion of the fair IFA 2015 of Berlin, the phablet Galaxy Note 5 Samsung could ship a port USB Type-C reversible, from Korean source. The contribution of the standard USB 3.1 should boost speed (up to 10 Gbps theoretical) but not only.
The USB 3.1 connector allows you to manage up to 20 Volts and 5 Amps, against 5 Volts and 1.8 Amps for USB 3.0. It also means that smartphone charging times should be shortened, which is always a good thing when faced with batteries of 3000 mAh and more.
So see if the USB Type-C will be one of the attributes of the Galaxy Note 5 in September, like the 2K / QHD screen, or even 4K / UHD according to the latest rumors.
