Originally released in 1999 on PC, Homeworld has marked the minds of many fans of real-time strategy games, especially because of the atmosphere and the gameplay based on an easily manipulated camera.
The Gearbox studio is currently preparing a return of Homeworld as well as its Homeworld 2 suite, as part of a high definition remastering. Baptized Homeworld Remastered Collection, this compilation is for Windows only and only in dematerialized format on the Steam platform.
A new video was released, highlighting a developer diary that exudes passion for the franchise, as well as a certain dose of nostalgia. We also notice some interventions by developers of Relic Entertainment, namely the studio that created the game in 1999.
The Blackbird Interactive studio is also appearing, to underline that it is currently working on Homeworld Shipbreakers, a prequel to the series.
Recall that Homeworld Remastered Collection will be marketed on February 25, 2015 on PC.
