Capcom has finally announced the development of a new remastering, namely that of Resident Evil 0, originally released on GameCube. This HD version takes advantage of a first image, of the platforms concerned, as well as a first draft of the release date.
The Japanese publisher Capcom says it is determined to focus its next productions around the remakes of its old games on today's platforms. This decision, not necessarily appreciated by all players, has been taking shape for a few months with the return of Resident Evil or Devil May Cry 4 in editions remastered in HD.
Already mentioned in our columns a few months ago, Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster was finally confirmed by the Japanese firm. The return of the GameCube component – reissued on Wii a few years later – will take place at early 2016, at least in Japan.
For now, the details are meager, but Capcom has released a first image opposite highlighting the hero duo Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen, as well as the media concerned by this version: PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. Like Resident Evil HD Remaster, it will be without doubt question of an exclusively dematerialized exit.
