The device MSI AP16 Flex can indeed don the capdesktop computer when it is held vertically by a crutch and combined with a keyboard + mouse duo. But it can also act as touch pad, thanks to its 10-point multitouch panel. Some will finally see a extra video screen for YouTube or Netflix sessions. In the second scenario, it will be noted that the proximity of an electrical outlet will be required, due to the absence of a battery on board.
In terms of functionality, it offers a display 15.6 inch in 1366 x 768 pixels, 2 x 2 Watts sound, storage combining an SSD 32/64 GB and a hard drive of 500 GB at 5,400 rpm, a slot for an MMC / MS / SD memory card, videoconferencing in Full HD quality and Gigabit Ethernet / Wi-Fi / USB / Bluetooth connectivity. To animate it, there is an Intel Celeron J1900 processor quad-core 2.0-2.41 GHz coupled with 4 or 8 GB of DDR3 RAM.
The software part will be entrusted to the operating system Windows 8.1. A tool developed by MSI and called Star, optional, will add a possibility of voice control for operations such as Internet surfing, electronic messaging, multimedia playback or standby.
