Koji Igarashi (aka IGA) frankly announced the launch of the fundraising campaign for his next game, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, a title inherited from the Castlevania saga which has already exceeded its objective with more than one million dollars rcolt.
If the Castlevania series is now entrusted to the Spanish studio MercurySteam, Koji Igarashi has not said his last word. The producer of the Konami saga very recently set up a fundraising campaign on the platform Kickstarter for his next game, called Bloodstained: Rirtual of the Night.
It will be a title similar in approach to the old parts of Castlevania, offering a 2D adventure game with a strong Gothic atmosphere. Miriam will be the heroine of this adventure and she will have to evolve in a demonic castle before her curse comes to an end.
The project has very clearly thrilled many gamers, so much so that the funding goal of $ 500,000 has already been fully achieved. Indeed, the amount has now exceeded the million dollar mark, thereby signing more features for the future software.
Planned to be playable solo, in cooperation but also in competition, Bloodstained is planned to be released in march 2017 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
