Beyond the hardware update, Apple insists on the new trackpad Force Touch which has sensors, to measure different pressures and open the way to more functionality (light press for a thin line or strong press for a thick line when signing electronically, for example). It also incorporates a vibration motor, to ensure haptic feedback and offer more immersion in software and games (resistance in a car racing game, for example).
