A fan of the series has done some research on the series, to see even further in the publisher's forecast. Based on an Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag artbook, the player points out that 2016 Assassin's Creed to take place in Japan.
Speaking through the official Ubisoft forums, "Cornik22" indicated relying on an artwork from Ubisoft's work (opposite) which presents the Abstergo offices and several destinations in mosaic.
His analysis specifies that the part displaying a church refers to the first Assassin's Creed, Santa Maria del Flore relates to Assassin's Creed II, the green island relates to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Unity is represented by Notre Dame Cathedral Lady of Paris.
Another part reveals the Palace of Westminster, referring to the next Assassin's Creed Victory.
The last fragment displayed presents an Asian temple similar to the Sens-ji Temple located in Asakusa (in Tokyo), according to the discernment of the player. Also, he deduces that Assassin's Creed VII will take place in Japan. It remains to be seen whether this information will soon be confirmed by the publisher.
