Apple – along with YouTube, Amazon and other major multimedia platforms – will broadcast live ?One World: Together At Home?. It is a virtual concert with many celebrities and artists.
Organized by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO), the event will last several hours and will be broadcast worldwide on April 18, as part of a charitable initiative launched a few weeks ago for the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Fund. The project has already raised $ 35 million last week.
Presented by Jimmy Fallon of ?The Tonight Show?, Jimmy Kimmel of ?Jimmy Kimmel Live? and Stephen Colbert of ?The Late Show?, as well as the characters from Sesame Street, ?One World: Together At Home? was organized in collaboration with Lady Gaga. Apple will broadcast the entire event live, as will Alibaba, Amazon Prime Video, Facebook, Instagram, LiveXLive, Tencent, TIDAL, TuneIn, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo and YouTube. In the United States, several television channels will also broadcast the concert. For the moment, Apple has not yet specified where it will be possible to see "One World: Together At Home", but live streaming will most likely be broadcast on Apple TV and Apple Music.
?One World: Together At Home? will be broadcast on Saturday April 18 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time (2 hours on April 19 in France).
For her part, Lady Gaga created a special event dedicated to raising funds for the WHO. Apple CEO Tim Cook attended The Tonight Show in Facetime, confirming Apple?s $ 10 million donation.
