Apple has reportedly started deploying 4G / LTE hotspots in its Apple Stores in the United States.
While we reported to you this tuesday information that a prototype iPhone 4G / LTE is currently being tested, the Engadget website claims today that Apple has just installed a 4G / LTE access point (operating on the American AT&T network) in the one of its largest Apple Stores.
The objective of this installation would be to strengthen the cellular network for "customers who are heavy consumers of data". Such a service was already in place in some Apple Stores but only worked under the 3G network. Such an installation reinforces the assumption that the next iPhone may well be compatible with this network standard. to confirm?
