The Find my iPhone functionality enabled authorities in El Paso County (United States) to find a stolen truck on Tuesday morning.
No luck for this thief who robbed a truck this Tuesday morning in which his owner had left his iPhone in the passenger seat. After having noticed the disappearance of his vehicle, the owner of it quickly remembered that he had activated the ?Find my iPhone? feature on an apple smartphone. After alerting the office of the Shrif in El Paso County, the owner of the truck hastily attempted to locate his iPhone using the localization application available on the Internet. The Shrif office was able to find the truck easily. it was located just over 10km from the location where it was flown. His driver Joshua Mitzelfelt (29) was arrested immediately. As for the sheriff's office, the latter noticed that the cargo being transported was related to burglaries that had recently taken place in the region.
