In the case Apple Vs Adobe, the European Commission is said to have joined the Federal Trade Commission in the study which analyzes whether Apple's business practices are harmful to competition. This inquiry could still last from 4 to 6 months.
As a reminder, the Cupertino company refuses Flash on the iPhone and iPad, and also requires developers to use other development programs than its SDK (application development kit) based on Xcode. Apple justifies its embargo on Adobe Flash technology by stating that it is necessary to maintain the quality of its applications, which Adobe disputes.
The European Commission and the FTC declined to comment.
We discuss it on the forum.
