Apple Files Abuse Detector Patent

marzo 26, 2020

Apple Inc. filed a patent yesterday on a series of sensors capable of recording different data: use in too low or too high temperatures, shock detector in addition to the usual humidity sensors.

The goal is to minimize the abuse of certain people despite wanting to return their broken iPhones to after-sales service in the event of misuse.

The data would be stored on a chip which could only be used by the After-Sales Service, which could then check if the iPhone in question had been used in good conditions and if it could be eligible for a repair under warranty!

The next generations of iPhones and iPods will certainly be equipped with these sensors which will prevent any consumer abuse!

We discuss it on the forum.
