The country where the tablet costs the most is Argentina with $ 1,094, far ahead of the United States where it is sold for only $ 499 excluding tax.
Surprisingly, the price found does not seem to correlate with the standard of living of citizens. Denmark and Sweden for example are in a much better financial situation than Greece, yet the iPad is also expensive in southern Europe.
